Co-Pilot Take Over

Co-Pilot – Microsoft’s AI is entwined in the OS? whether you want it or not. I don’t want an AI bot trying to solve my problems when I didn’t ask for help. And while I heard that Microsoft rolled back some of the interference, I did hear that Copilot was in Notepad (a basic text editor). Why do you need AI for creating a simple txt document? There is no formatting, no links, and no changes of the letter types nor size. If I had co-pilot, I want it to be what it is called – a co-pilot, and not the pilot taking over.

So what can Microsoft do about this? Well, AI is here to stay. Microsoft will not change that. However, rather than infiltrating every app, have it baked into the OS instead. This is what Apple does with Siri, and while it activates every time my computer hears “hey Siri”, it is not nearly as intrusive as Co-Pilot.
